Watermist System

LOW WATER FLOW - LESS POWER CONSUMPTION
Water Mist System

Watermist is a type of water spray that contains very small water droplets. A watermist system uses specially designed nozzles to distribute watermist to control, suppress, or extinguish fires.

Water in the form of mist is more effective in suppressing fire compared to just water. The watermist droplets are smaller and finer, which gives them a larger surface area and thus a larger heat absorption surface. This enables the mist to suppress a larger area of the fire without using more water.
Watermist fights fire in different ways including cooling the flames and surrounding gasses through evaporation, displacing oxygen by evaporation, diminishing radiant heat, and by wetting the fire.

Water Mist System - Applications

Commercial Land Application

Commercial Applications are the most nuanced and varying applications due to the individualistic nature of numerous different settingsthat fall within this category. With the many different applications come many unique fire-hazards, and with that many different fuel loads and obstructions and variables to consider. All these are not static in nature and can differ in size and position on a daily basis making it a challenge to protect efficiently.

Industrial Application

Industrial Applications frequently showcase open spaces with a plethora of huge hardware, synthetic substances, hot surfaces and various activities occurring simultaneously.

Data Centre Solution

Information is a commodity for many global and local players alike, which is why the safeguarding of that commodity has become paramount.

Road Tunnel Application

The patented VID FireKill TUNPROTEC system fights fires in tunnels fast and effectively and enables safe evacuation and easy access for rescue workers.

Cable Tunnel Application

Cable tunnels have become increasingly essential to sustain modern life by maintaining our power and data distribution.

Heritage Protection

Certain facilities such as museums and other places of historical importance are just as prone as any other to be at risk for a fire occurrence.

Marine and Offshore Application

Offshore and Marine Applications require robust and reliable fire protection and very importantly whilst protecting Offshore Applications
