FIRE FIGHTING VALVES
OS&Y GATE VALVE
The OS&Y Gate Valve commonly used to control water flow to fire sprinkler systems is known as outside stem and yoke or outside screw and yoke.
OS&Y gate valves operate by opening and closing via a gate, which lowers into or rises out of the valve. Raising the gate allows water to flow through the valve while lowering the gate cuts off the water flowing through the valve. When fully open, the typical gate valve has no obstruction in the flow path, resulting in very low friction loss.
- Coated with Epoxy, making it durable to withstand the test of time.
- Outside Screw & Yoke (O.S&Y.)
- Adjustable packing
- Rubber encapsulated iron wedge
- Handwheel – open left or open right
- Low cost and easy maintenance.
- Epoxy Coated interior and exterior surfaces.
NRS GATE VALVE
NRS Gate Valve – The stems of this Gate Valve are of the non-rising system version. This means that in contrast with its rising system counterpart, the valve stem does not necessarily rise according to how much the gate valve has been opened. Instead, the gate valves indicate their status in a different manner. Although the gate valves do not use this kind of system, it still brings hand wheel that can be used to operate it.These types of valve are more compact than the OS&Y.
- Lightweight and low-cost control over water flow.
- UL Listed Grooved Type Butterfly Valve is suitable Fire Protection Piping Sprinkler System.
- Yellow Indicator that shows the operator which way the disc is facing.
- Includes an electronic tamper switch that communicates with a control panel and alarms when the valve's disc rotates.
- Top/Test Standard ISO5211 / API 598
BUTTERFLY VALVE
The Butterfly Valve cuts or regulates the flow of fluid through the piping systems. ButterflyValve for fire protection serve as a controlvalve that turn on / off the flow of water to the pipes serving the fire sprinkler system or standpipes system.
SWING CHECK VALVE
This Swing Check Valve, also known as NON-Return Valve, is commonly used in water pumping in Fire Systems. The main function the Swing Check Valve is to prevent back flow and protect any item or equipment that might be destroyed during a back flow. It also prevents hydraulic pressure surges and flooding.
- Durable and can withstand the test of time.
- Have a smooth and unrestricted water flow, which can provide a significant amount of savings in the long run.
