Novec systems provide a documented and reliable fast acting, clean agent solution that is safe for use in manned areas. The system is environmentally friendly with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and insignificant global warming potential (GWP). Novec systems are specifically conceptualized and manufactured based on independently witnessed fire tests by accredited laboratory personnel. It is listed as “acceptable without restrictions” by the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP).
Novec systems work quickly and are programmed to rapidly absorb heat to the point where combustion is not a possibility. Post actuation, Novec systems deliver the clean agent within 10 seconds, preventing fires before they have the chance to spread.
